Could God be calling you to a new role?

Would you thrive in a small but growing church where members roll up their sleeves and get involved? If so our full-time Pastor role at Bawtry Community Church might be the role for you.

We’re small in number but big in our ambitions to share God’s salvation with our community. The church was established in 1992 and our current congregation is around 40 people. We’re affiliated to FIEC and our new pastor will be a man who wholeheartedly agrees with our statement of faith.

Our congregation spans a range of ages and we’re delighted to see an increasing number of children and young people attending our services and weekday activities. They are ably led by our full-time children and families’ worker, supported by a trusty band of volunteers.

We’re also working hard to reach out to people in the 20s-40s age group so we’d particularly value any experience you have with this age group.

If you choose to join us you will be part of an enthusiastic volunteer team, and will be supported spiritually by our elders and deacons. Our members and attenders help out wherever they are needed, from baking for our regular over-60’s teas, to leading services, providing IT and musical support, offering lifts, and hosting groups in their homes.

Our church leaders will be delighted to discuss the role in more detail, and tell you about our location in the friendly town of Bawtry in rural East Midlands. To arrange a chat please email: bccapplication.bawtry@gmail.com
